Eva Mendes has been designing clothes for her New York & Company line for several seasons now, but one recent major life event has since shifted her perspective on what women want to wear: becoming a mother.
E! News caught up with proud new mama to baby Esmeralda and chatted with Mendes about much her new September collection means to her.
"I think that being a mom now myself, I love dressing…not so much like a mom but there is a sexiness in kind of giving into the mom thing and that I'm dressing as an example for a little girl. Like, I'm someone's example!"
The brunette beauty added, "That's exciting for me and I make clothes that I think are really beautiful for moms, for all women, but certainly for moms."

Did you think Adele was going to make your year with another amazing album? Well, sad times because she isn’t dropping a new LP in 2014, according to her record label.

Adele’s label XL Recordings have stated that there are no plans for the British singer to release her third album before the end of the year, and they also admit that because of that they will suffer financially.

In a filing, which has been reported by The New York Times, it said: "There will not be a further new release by Adele during 2014 and consequently there will be a fall in XL's turnover and profits.”

The turnover and profits will no doubt be boosted when the Skyfall star does finally drop this highly-anticipated record though.

Last month, BBC’s Newsbeat revealed that the star has been working with songwriting legend Diane Warren at RAK Studios in north west London, the same studio where Emeli Sande is reportedly working on her new LP.
